Join our Young Zoologists Club

In response to the impact of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) we are unable to distribute physical newsletter copies. Thank you for your patience during this difficult time.

Our newsletters will continue to be distributed digitally via email with workshops happening online, so please do join the Club to hear more about the natural world.

Calling all Young Zoologists! The Museum of Zoology runs a Young Zoologists Club for 6-12 year olds interested in animals.

Membership is free. To join, please complete the joining form with

 - Child’s name and date of birth

 - Name of parent/guardian and their email address

 -  Address (including postcode)

 - Let us know if they have any siblings in the club.

Members will receive a quarterly newsletter by email, packed with animal facts, profiles of the animals in our collections, and news of upcoming events and workshops. On joining, members receive a downloadable welcome pack of animal goodies. If you are unable to access printing facilities to print off the newsletters and would like to receive hard copies, please contact the Museum to find out how to sign up for this service via

Young Zoologists are invited to book onto hands-on workshops and special events, both in-person and online, put on for club members.

If you are over 12 but would like to discover more about the amazing world of animals and the science of zoology, the Museum runs a Zoology club for 13-18 year olds.
