Green-veined white

Pictured: green-veined white, Pieris napi

Notes from Jenyns: Common everywhere. ~

200-year trend in Cambridgeshire: Little change or small decline.

Modern records

This species appears to have always been widespread and common, as it still is today. However, loss of floodplain meadows containing foodplants such as garlic mustard and cuckooflower may have reduced the total population.
