200-year trend in Cambridgeshire: Little change
Modern Records
Jenyns’ notebook shows this species to be quite plentiful 200 years ago, at least in a few locations around Cambridgeshire. It has likely always been fairly common in the county and continues to be widespread to this day. It is still sparing on the Devils Dyke, as a species which utilises denser grassland with long coarse grasses.
