Taking place at the Fitzwilliam Museum, three artists, Jayne Ivimey, Elspeth Owen and Mella Shaw will give insights into their individual ceramic practices and their different approaches to clay as a thought provoking material used to explore environmental themes.

This talk will focus on their upcoming group exhibition Breaking Point: fragility in clay and nature that is on show at the University Museum of Zoology Cambridge, from 22 May – 20 September 2020.

The talk is free to attend and take place from 13.15 to 14.00 in the Fitzwilliam Museum Seminar Room 35 (space is limited). Admission is by token, one per person, available at the Fitzwilliam Museum Courtyard Entrance desk on a first-come first-served basis 30 minutes before the talk. Assisted hearing sets are available.
