Work by CSVPA students

Explore environmental change with artworks created by students and staff of the Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts.

This collaboration between the Museum of Zoology and CSVPA examines environmental change through a sensory lens. Students from a range of creative disciplines—including graphics and illustration, animation, fine art, 3D design, music, and drama—explore the impacts of environmental threats on wildlife, offering narratives of resilience alongside cautionary tales.

The Sensing Change display includes paper constructions, animations, a striking 9-meter-long drawing, augmented reality experiences, digital fashion, and interactive drawing activities designed for children. These works bring to life how animals experience and adapt to a rapidly changing planet.

The live event features music and physical theatre by CSVPA students, further exploring the dialogue between art, natural science, and conservation. These performances invite visitors to experience the stories of endangered species in a dynamic, immersive way.

Performances will happen twice, once from 6-7pm and again from 7-8pm.
