Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts artwork

Explore environmental change with artworks created by students and staff of the Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts.

This innovative collaboration between the Museum of Zoology and CSVPA examines environmental change through a sensory lens. Students from a range of creative disciplines—including graphics and illustration, animation, fine art, 3D design, music, and drama—explore the impacts of environmental threats on wildlife, offering narratives of resilience alongside cautionary tales.

The display features paper constructions, animations, a striking 9-meter-long drawing, a large-scale sculpture, augmented reality experiences, digital fashion, and interactive drawing activities. These works bring to life how animals experience and adapt to a rapidly changing planet.

The display runs from Tuesday 25th March to Sunday 30th March - in the Museum. Free entry.

To experience the performance elements of this project, see the Sensing Change Live Performance on Wednesday 26 March.
