Saturday 31st July, 11:00-15:00: Trumpington Meadows

Book your free ticket on Eventbrite here

From butterflies, to dragonflies and damselflies, plus bees, beetles and bugs. The Wildlife Trust BCN in collaboration with the Cambridge Zoology Museum brings you this fun day in the sun where you can discover all that flies, creeps, swims and leaps at the nature reserve.

Please note, the location of the event is a 5-10 minute walk from the car park at Byron's Pool. Alternative parking available at the Trumpington Park & Ride. Follow signs and look for our gazebos.

There will be a mix of activities for the whole family with minibeast hunts, pond dipping, guided walks, crafts and much more. Staff and volunteers from both organisations will be on hand to help audiences engage with wildlife, both past and present.

These special events are free to attend thanks to generous funding from the Esmée Fairbairn Collections Fund, run by the Museums Association. The Wildlife Trust reserves and Museum of Zoology are otherwise free to visit during the rest of the year.
