In 2020 the world will establish a “New Deal for Nature”, with targets to halt the loss of biodiversity. How can we be sure that sufficient progress will be made to sustain life on Earth? And what barriers will need to be overcome if the world is to secure a sustainable future for people and nature?  Join Neville Ash, Director of the UN Environment World Conservation Monitoring Centre, as he explores these ideas, and discuss how the world is coming together over the next 2 years to agree on the global New Deal for Nature.

The galleries will be open until 19.30 for visitors to explore after the talk.

This is part of a series of talks. See website for details of the programme.
