Terms and Conditions for the Sir David Attenborough Question Competition:

 

1. The promoter of this competition is the University Museum of Zoology, Cambridge.The registered address is Downing Street, Cambridge, CB2 3EJ

2. This competition is open to anyone except employees of the Museum of Zoology and their close relatives, and members of the judging panel.Parental or guardian permission is required for entrants aged under 18.

3. The competition is free to enter.

4. The route to entry is via the website www.museum.zoo.cam.ac.uk

5. Only one entry allowed per person. Multiple entries will not be considered.

6. Closing date for entries is midnight on Monday 28 May 2018.After this date no further entries will be permitted.

7. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

8. The prize is as follows: 2 tickets to watch Sir David Attenborough in conversation with Liz Bonnin at the Babbage Lecture Theatre, David Attenborough Building, New Museums Site, Downing St Cambridge. Date: Friday 22 June 2018

9. The prize is as stated and no alternatives will be offered.

10. Winners will be chosen by a panel of judges from the Museum of Zoology.

11. The winners will be notified by email within 7 days of the closing date. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winners, however if the winners cannot be contacted, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize and choose a replacement winner.

12. The winner or parent/ guardian of the winner agrees to the use of the winner’s name and image in any publicity material. Any data will be used in accordance with data protection legislation.

13. The winners are responsible for all expenses and arrangements made in order to take up this prize. The prize of two tickets does not include travel expenses, accommodation or refreshments or any other associated costs.

14. The promoter is not liable if due to unforeseen circumstances this event is cancelled or rescheduled for any reason. If this means that the winner cannot attend a rescheduled event, no alternative will be offered and another winner will be chosen.

15. The promoter reserves the right to cancel the competition at any time.

16. The promoter will not be liable for any theft, damage or loss incurred in connection with the competition.

17. The promoter’s decision is final in respect of all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.

18. By entering the competition the entrant is agreeing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions
