VOLUNTEERING AT THE MUSEUM OF ZOOLOGY

Are you interested in Zoology? Want to gain experience in a museum? Do you enjoy taking on new challenges? Volunteer with us!

Volunteers play an important role at the Museum of Zoology, from providing a warm welcome to visitors, to getting hands on with our specimens.

You don’t have to have a Zoology background to become part of our team, we are looking for enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Volunteers help visitors make the most out of the Museum, and we want you to get the most out of your time with us. Training will be provided for each role, and volunteers will be encouraged to take on new tasks when opportunities arise.

Volunteers support our work in a variety of ways. Get involved with Visitor Engagement, Learning and Outreach, and Collections Care.

Please find all current opportunities on the University of Cambridge Museums Get Involved page. To apply download an Expression of Interest Form and return it to zoovol@hermes.cam.ac.uk or Volunteer Coordinator, Museum of Zoology, Downing Street, Cambridge, CB2 3EJ.
