The Collections are open to scientists and students for the purpose of non-commercial, scientific research.

Requests to visit the collection should be made with as much advanced notice as possible, either in writing to one of the curators or to the Collections Manager, specifying dates for the proposed visit.

Please be aware that there may be periods of time when the Collections are either inaccessible or the Museum staff are unable to host your visit.

Before arranging travel, visitors should receive written confirmation from UMZC staff regarding the proposed dates. We ask that visitors provide us with as much information as possible about the material they wish to study prior to their visit, which will be made available in a designated study area. Some material  may only be available subject to supervision.
